O ATLETISMO COMO POSSIBILIDADE DE ENSINO NAS AULAS DE EDUCAÇÃO FISICA

Abstract

Athletics in physical education classes does not have the same prominence as other modalities in the school context. In the present study we aimed to analyze the relationship between the results through data obtained through interviews with teachers of public schools of the City Hall of Vitória - ES. These were carried out with ten teachers from three schools, located in the region of Grande Goiabeiras. Analyzing the reasons teachers indicated for "not working" with athletics in their classes, we searched through bibliographical references to show that there are several possibilities to work with athletics within the school physical education classes.
