dc.description.abstract	It bases the play and the learning in a perspective of understanding the world with autonomy and creativity. It addresses the relevance of playing and learning in Early Childhood Education in a playful bias in which knowledge, learning and teaching complement each other. One can not talk about the theme chosen without reflections, about the history of Early Childhood Education in Brazil. Thus, small children are closely related to issues pertinent to the history of childhood, family, and society. It also includes reflections on the Statute of Children and Adolescents that are enriching.
