Abstract:
Reflects on the importance of special education for the training and development of children with Down Syndrome, with emphasis on the influence of early stimulation in relation to language acquisition. It goes through neurological, psychological, anatomical and pedagogical approaches, aiming to broaden the field of study, following a sequence related to the complex learning process, describing the relation and importance of the family in the process of language construction.
