dc.description	Foi abordado em pesquisas e referências um tema importante que é Psicologia Hospitalar, atendimento Psicológico ao Paciente com Insuficiência Renal Crônica (IRC). Teve como objetivo analisar as contribuições do psicólogo aos pacientes em tratamento. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa exploratória realizada a partir de revisão bibliográfica, através de fontes secundárias em períodos indexados. A seleção ocorreu por meio on-line, com a realização de consulta na Scientific Eletronic Library OnLine (Scielo) e Google acadêmico. Diante do estudo foi possível refletir sobre o impacto do adoecimento e tratamento, identificando a importância da atuação do psicólogo no processo de tratamento junto desse paciente enfermo. O paciente se depara com uma série de problemas que atinge a família e também seu contexto social. Os pacientes com IRC estão sujeitos ao tratamento de hemodiálise e até mesmo transplante de rins. Neste caso, o psicólogo atua auxiliando na quebra de pré-conceitos que possam surgir a esse sujeito, além do incentivo no desenvolvimento de suas potencias, observando a doença de outros ângulos e o paciente como um todo, além do diagnostico recebido, tendo assim melhor aceitação do novo quadro de saúde e aliviando o sofrimento ocasionado pelo tratamento.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	It was approached in researches and references an important theme that is Hospital Psychology, Psychological Assistance to the Patient with Chronic Renal Insufficiency (CRI). It aimed to analyze the contributions of the psychologist to the patients being treated. It is characterized as a qualitative exploratory research carried out from a bibliographical review, through secondary sources in indexed periods. The selection took place through online, with consultation in the Scientific Electronic Library OnLine (Scielo) and Google academic. Before the study it was possible to reflect on the impact of illness and treatment, identifying the importance of the psychologist's performance in the treatment process. The patient is faced with a series of problems that affect the family and also their social context. Patients with CRF are subject to hemodialysis treatment and even kidney transplantation. In this case, the psychologist works by helping to break down prejudices, as well as encouraging the development of their powers, observing the disease from other angles and the patient as a whole, thus having a better acceptance of the new health and alleviating the suffering caused by the treatment.	pt_BR
