dc.description	Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um tema que permeia a área da educação infantil. Aborda o processo de adaptação escolar além de pontuar como a adaptação escolar pode impactar no desenvolvimento da relação de apego, como ela pode influenciar na relação de apego da criança com o seu meio e como a relação estabelecida com o cuidador central pode impactar na fase de adaptação escolar de uma criança de três anos de idade, pontua-se também como a mãe lida com a situação de optar por matricular a criança na creche. Foi feita uma pesquisa qualitativa por meio de um estudo de caso e foram abordadas questões como, adaptação escolar e relação de apego, foi descrito também sobre a educação infantil, mudanças de comportamento da criança ao ser matriculada e pós-matrícula. Conclui-se que é através da compreensão e acolhimento da família e da escola que é possível que os processos de adaptação e os estágios de apego sejam respeitados.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	This article aims to present a theme that permeates the area of early childhood education. It addresses the process of school adaptation and also points out how school adaptation can impact the development of the attachment relationship, how it can influence the attachment relationship of the child with their environment, and how the relationship established with the central caregiver can impact the school adaptation of a three-year-old child, it is also noted how the mother handles the situation to choose to enroll the child in the day care. A qualitative research was done by means of a case study and questions such as, school adaptation and attachment relationship were also discussed, it was also described on the education of children, changes in the behavior of the child upon enrollment and post-enrollment. It is concluded that it is through the understanding and acceptance of the family and the school that it is possible for the processes of adaptation and the stages of attachment to be respected.	pt_BR
