dc.description	Trata de relato de experiências sobre a presença da ginástica artística enquanto conteúdo das aulas de educação física, com destaque para as dificuldades e possibilidades de trabalho com esse importante conteúdo da área. Inicia apresentando uma retrospectiva histórica do lugar da ginástica no surgimento e consolidação da educação física escolar, seu uso e objetivos, com ações ligadas à saúde, fortalecimento e controle do corpo na perspectiva higienista e sua relação com a preparação para o mundo do trabalho. Avança para a relação da ginástica com os primeiros passos da educação física no Brasil e dialoga com sua evolução no contexto esportivo. Se dedica a dialogar com o currículo escolar e o contexto atual da seleção de conteúdos para as aulas de educação física analisando a ausência de alguns importantes conteúdos, entre eles a ginástica, nessa seleção que privilegia algumas poucas modalidades esportivas. Como ponto central da pesquisa, busca apresentar algumas práticas pedagógicas exitosas que se dedicam ao trabalho com a ginástica mesmo com todas as dificuldades e limitações que a realidade apresenta. Nesse contexto, foi possível comprovar que a falta de estrutura física e material, não apenas para as aulas com o conteúdo ginástica, mas também no geral de nossa área, continua a ser um grande problema para a educação física escolar. Finaliza apresentando algumas provocações sobre as razões para a pouca presença desse conteúdo deixando em aberto o lugar e importância dos processos de formação inicial nesse contexto.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	It deals with the report of experiences about the presence of artistic gymnastics as content of physical education classes, with emphasis on the difficulties and possibilities of working with this important content in the area. It begins by presenting a historical retrospective of the place of gymnastics in the emergence and consolidation of school physical education, its use and objectives, with actions related to health, strengthening and control of the body in the hygienist perspective and its relationship with the preparation for the world of work. It moves towards the relationship between gymnastics and the first steps of physical education in Brazil and dialogues with its evolution in the sports context. It is dedicated to dialogue with the school curriculum and the current context of content selection for physical education classes, analyzing the absence of some important contents, including gymnastics, in this selection that privileges a few sports. As a central point of the research, it seeks to present some successful pedagogical practices that are dedicated to working with gymnastics even with all the difficulties and limitations that reality presents. In this context, it was possible to prove that the lack of physical and material structure, not only for classes with gymnastic content, but also in general in our area, continues to be a major problem for school physical education. It ends by presenting some provocations about the reasons for the low presence of this content, leaving open the place and importance of the initial formation processes in this context.	pt_BR
