dc.description	Este artigo objetivou analisar a funcionalidade do programa Bolsa Atleta da Rede de Ensino Doctum. Para isso seguiu os objetivos específicos: a) Levantar quantos e quem são os alunos pertencentes ao programa de bolsa atleta da Rede Doctum; b) traçar o perfil socioeconômico, acadêmico e esportivo desses atletas; c) levantar as opiniões destes atletas acerca do Programa Bolsa Atleta da Doctum; d) analisar os critérios de seleção e concessão de bolsas estudantis, bem como as formas de incentivo ao esporte e supervisão da vida esportiva dos atletas pelo Programa; e) elaborar um relatório avaliativo sobre a qualidade do Programa Bolsa Atleta da Doctum. Diante disso, esta pesquisa se classifica como estudo de campo. Utilizou-se da análise documental, da entrevista e dos questionários como ferramentas de coleta de dados. Dois 55 alunos-atletas contemplados pela bolsa, 12 responderam o questionário. Diante dos dados, verificou-se que a média de idade é de 27 anos, ou seja, não são atletas adolescentes, mas sim adultos. A maioria não é casada e não possuem filhos, e a metade é empregado, e apenas 1 vive do seu esporte. Também verificamos que o Programa Bolsa-Atleta da Doctum se apresenta bem organizado, transparente e seus objetivos e métodos são coerentes. As melhorias necessárias se dão na área de comunicação do aluno-atleta com a instituição e também com a falta de reconhecimento dos atletas pela instituição.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	This article aimed to analyze the functionality of the Bolsa Atleta program of the Doctum Education Network. For that, it followed the specific objectives: a) To raise how many and who are the students belonging to the athlete scholarship program of Rede Doctum; b) trace the socioeconomic, academic and sporting profile of these athletes; c) raise the opinions of these athletes about the Doctum Atleta Scholarship Program; d) analyze the criteria for selection and granting of student scholarships, as well as the forms of incentive to sport and supervision of the athletes' sporting life through the Program; e) prepare an evaluation report on the quality of Doctum's Bolsa Atleta Program. Therefore, this research is classified as a field study. Document analysis, interviews and questionnaires were used as data collection tools. Two 55 student-athletes awarded by the scholarship, 12 answered the questionnaire.Given the data, it was found that the average age is 27 years, that is, they are not adolescent athletes, but adults. Most are unmarried and have no children, and half are employed, and only 1 make a living from their sport. We also verified that Doctum's Bolsa-Atleta Program is well organized, transparent and its objectives and methods are coherent. The necessary improvements take place in the area of communication between the student-athlete and the institution and also with the lack of recognition of the athletes by the institution.	pt_BR
