Abstract:
The present work had the character of a qualitative research, where the research
approach focused on knowing how Ballet classes work in early childhood education
in the private education system. About its theoretical dimension about dance, ballet,
early childhood education, teacher training and physical education at school. The
survey was directed to Ballet teachers who teach classes in early childhood
education, from googleforms, we had a small number of participants with more
relevant information. However, the study brings important considerations about how
these classes have been applied in early childhood education and who are these
teachers who are working in the area. Highlighting that Ballet positively supports the
lives of students: in aspects: cognitive, physical and mental. In which it is necessary
that students experience the content within early childhood education schools, contextualizing its importance for their development based on bodily expressions,
languages and playfulness.
