Abstract:
The present work aims to analyze the applicability of the Maria da Penha law for
transsexual people, analyzing some judged cases. Initially, it presents the history of
domestic violence, also addressing the origin of Law No. 11,340 / 06 and the
unconstitutionalities of the Maria da Penha Law. Analyze the concept of
transsexuality, and new family relationships, and the distinctions of transsexuals.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a aplicabilidade da lei Maria
Da Penha para pessoas transexuais, analisando alguns casos julgados.
Inicialmente, apresenta o histórico da violência doméstica, abordando também
acerca da origem da lei Nº 11.340/06 e as inconstitucionalidades da Lei Maria da
Penha. Analisar o conceito da transexualidade, e as novas relações familiares, e as
distinções dos transexuais.
