A pandemia do covid-19 modificou o modo de vida do mundo, inclusive no Brasil, que
teve um alto índice de mortalidade. Os ritos de passagem sempre tiveram mudanças
ao longo dos séculos, principalmente na cultura ocidental, porém, na pandemia do
covid-19, isso se mostrou de forma significativa e repentina, devido ao distanciamento
social os mesmos foram suspensos, afim de diminuir a proliferação do vírus. Abordar
a psicanálise no estudo, possibilitou o entendimento de como o trabalho de luto
acontece para a elaboração efetiva frente a perda do objeto amado, e os efeitos
causados pela dificuldade de enfrentamento do mesmo. Esse artigo teve como
objetivo principal investigar como fica o processo de luto quando não é oferecido ao
enlutado a possibilidade da despedida, além disso, foram analisados a importância
dos rituais de despedida para o trabalho do luto, e consequentemente, investigou-se
o impacto psíquico causado pela impossibilidade da realização dos rituais e
cerimonias fúnebres. No artigo, foi utilizado como método cientifico a pesquisa
bibliográfica que proporciona um melhor aprofundamento sobre o tema abordado,
conseguindo fazer um levantamento de diversas questões relacionadas a covid-19 e
o trabalho de luto nesse novo cenário pandêmico, de forma sensível realizada pela
pesquisa qualitativa. Por meio da psicanálise, podemos evidenciar a relevância em
adotar os rituais de despedidas para a elaboração completa do luto, por existir, o laço
social fundamental para a dor ser compartilhada e com isso, transforma-la em
sofrimento, conseguindo fazer, com que, esse processo de luto seja concluído. |

The covid-19 pandemic changed the way of life in the world, including in
Brazil, which had a high mortality rate. The rites of passage have always changed over
the centuries, especially in western culture, however, in the covid-19 pandemic, this
was shown in a significant and sudden way, due to social distance they were
suspended, in order to reduce the proliferation of the virus. virus. Approaching
psychoanalysis in the study made it possible to understand how the work of mourning
happens for the effective elaboration in the face of the loss of the loved object, and the
effects caused by the difficulty of facing it. The main objective of this article was to
investigate how the grieving process is when the bereaved are not offered the
possibility of farewell, in addition, the importance of farewell rituals for the work of
mourning was analyzed, and consequently, the psychic impact was investigated.
