dc.description	Estuda-se o Patrimônio Cultural no município de Barão de Cocais e a ameaça sofrida por ele com o risco de rompimento da barragem Sul Superior, da mina de Gongo Soco. Este estudo visa colaborar e garantir novas formas de salvaguardar os bens culturais cocaienses, além de propor a implementação de um projeto de um Centro Cultural, como espaço de memória, que auxilia no reconhecimento, preservação e valorização do Patrimônio Cultural. Busca-se entender os tipos de bens encontrados no território, a legislação municipal e referências projetuais. As pesquisas são baseadas em documentação do IPHAN, IEPHA, Secretaria de Cultura e Turismo de Barão de Cocais e conversas com os mantenedores dos bens culturais. O estudo pretende aprofundar teoria à prática e propor soluções com uso das principais técnicas construtivas e influências estilísticas regionais, analisando questões ligadas à arquitetura, urbanismo e preservação.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	The Cultural Heritage in the municipality of Barão de Cocais is studied and the threat suffered by it with the risk of breaking the Sul Superior dam, at the Gongo Soco mine. This study aims to collaborate and guarantee new ways of safeguarding the cultural assets of Coca, in addition to proposing the implementation of a project for a Cultural Center, as a memory space, which helps in the recognition, preservation and enhancement of the Cultural Heritage. It seeks to understand the types of goods found in the territory, municipal legislation and design references. The surveys are based on documentation from IPHAN, IEPHA, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Barão de Cocais and conversations with the maintainers of cultural assets. The study aims to deepen theory into practice and propose solutions using the main construction techniques and regional stylistic influences, analyzing issues related to architecture, urbanism and preservation.	pt_BR
