dc.description	Este trabalho aborda o tema do abandono afetivo de idosos no Brasil, mais especificamente a negligência inversa, sob a perspectiva do Direito Civil em suas diversas áreas, incluindo o Direito de Família, Obrigações e Sucessões. Durante esta pesquisa, explorou-se a responsabilidade dos familiares no que diz respeito a assegurar uma velhice digna, destacando o dever e a obrigação de proteger, cuidar e amparar os idosos. Também examinou-se a evolução histórica do papel dos idosos na família e na sociedade, analisando as diferentes abordagens culturais em relação aos idosos, bem como o desenvolvimento dos direitos e garantias dos idosos desde a promulgação da Constituição Federal, passando pelo Código Civil, Política Nacional do Idoso e Estatuto do Idoso.Esta monografia tem como objetivo principal investigar as motivações subjacentes ao abandono de idosos vulneráveis, identificando suas causas, consequências e os fatores que levam as pessoas a cometer esse ato. Procurou-se compreender os principais motivos que levam ao abandono de idosos e examinar as repercussões e o sofrimento enfrentado por aqueles que são deixados desamparados. Em resumo, este trabalho busca aprofundar a compreensão do abandono afetivo de idosos, destacando a relevância de garantir uma velhice digna e respeitosa. Ao analisar as origens e implicações do abandono, o objetivo é contribuir para a conscientização e promover a busca por soluções que assegurem o bem-estar dos idosos e previnam essa forma de negligência.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	This work addresses the issue of emotional abandonment of the elderly in Brazil, more specifically reverse negligence, from the perspective of Civil Law in its various areas, including Family Law, Obligations and Successions. During this research, the responsibility of family members with regard to ensuring a dignified old age was explored, highlighting the duty and obligation to protect, care for and support the elderly. We also examine the historical evolution of the role of the elderly in the family and society, analyzing the different cultural approaches in the relationship with the elderly, as well as the development of the rights and guarantees of the elderly since the promulgation of the Federal Constitution, through the Civil Code, National Policy of the Elderly and Statute of the Elderly. This monograph's main objective is to investigate the motivations underlying the abandonment of vulnerable elderly people, identifying its causes, consequences and the factors that lead people to commit this act. Try to understand the main reasons that lead to elderly people abandoning themselves and examine the repercussions and suffering faced by those who were left helpless. In summary, this work seeks to deepen the understanding of the emotional abandonment of elderly people, highlighting the relevance of ensuring a dignified and respectful life. By analyzing the origins and implications of abandonment, the objective is to contribute to awareness and promote the search for solutions that ensure the well-being of the elderly and prevent this form of neglect.	pt_BR
