FAMÍLIA ACOLHEDORA PARA CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES EM MEDIDA PROTETIVA

Abstract

This research presents the Fostering Family for children and adolescents as a protective measure with the aim of family reintegration, whether original or extended and, ultimately, the substitute family, and their relationships and aims to analyze the work of the social worker in relation to the Foster Care Service. in welcoming family, how this service is provided and whether the rights of children and adolescents are protected under the Child and Adolescent Statute and whether the service is effective in the city of Juiz de Fora. To prepare this study, bibliographical research and interviews were used, enabling discussions on: the historical trajectory of the reception service; the work of the social worker in relation to the Service and how it works and understanding the rights of children and adolescents even with protective measures on the family, and knowing that the family of origin will be worked towards family reintegration. Thus, the research results show that the welcoming family needs to be expanded and have more registrations so that it is the only type of reception in the future, as it is humanized and always respects the needs and desires of the person welcomed, in addition to the fact that children have the right to live in family, not in institutions.
