dc.description	O hemangiossarcoma (HSA) canino é uma neoplasia maligna de vasos sanguíneos. Apresenta comportamento agressivo e infiltrativo, que pode manifestar-se de forma cutânea e com alto poder metastático quando em sua forma visceral. Relata-se caso de uma paciente canina, da raça Golden Retriever, atendida em clínica particular na cidade de Teófilo Otoni-MG. A partir da investigação clínica, exames laboratoriais e de imagem, observou-se aumento uterino e presença de massa em cavidade abdominal. Foi realizada celiotomia para ovariosalpingohisterectomia (OSH) e exérese da massa. Esta acometia o ovário esquerdo, sendo feita sua excisão completa através da técnica de abordagem terapêutica ao útero. A massa foi submetida à análise histopatológica. Em exame microscópico, observou-se proliferação neoplásica de células mesenquimais invadindo difusamente o tecido amostrado e infiltrado linfoplasmocitário multifocal. Com base nos achados histopatológicos, fechou-se diagnóstico de HSA em ovário esquerdo. Relatos de hemangiossarcoma em ovários são escassos, mas devem ser considerados como diagnóstico diferencial. dc.description.abstract	Canine hemangiosarcoma (HSA) is a malignant neoplasia of blood vessels. It presents an aggressive and infiltrative behavior, which can manifest itself in a cutaneous form and with high metastatic power when in its visceral form. We report a case of a canine patient, female Golden Retriever, treated at a private veterinary clinic in the city of Teófilo Otoni-MG. Based on the clinical investigation, laboratory and imaging tests, uterine enlargement and the presence of a mass in the abdominal cavity were observed. Celiotomy was performed for ovariosalpingohysterectomy (OSH) and excision of the mass. This affected the left ovary, and its complete excision was performed using the technique of therapeutic approach to the uterus. The mass was submitted to histopathological analysis. In microscopic examination, neoplastic proliferation of mesenchymal cells was observed diffusely invading the sampled tissue and multifocal lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate. Based on the histopathological findings, a diagnosis of SAH in the left ovary was confirmed. Reports of hemangiosarcoma in ovaries are scarce, but they should be considered as a differential diagnosis.
