dc.description	Segundo a pesquisa TIC Kids Online Brasil realizada em 2019 pelo Comitê Gestor da Internet no Brasil (CGI.br) 89% das crianças e adolescentes com idade entre 9 e 17 anos acessam a internet com frequência, 77% dos pais dessas crianças e adolescentes ensinam os filhos a utilizarem a internet com segurança, porém, somente cerca de 50% acompanham o que os filhos fazem nela. Sem nenhum tipo de supervisão, os riscos físicos, sociais e psicológicos que a internet oferece para essas crianças são muitos. Mesmo que esses riscos possam ser diminuídos a partir de ações importantes que podem ser adotadas pelos pais, muito pouco ainda é feito, e isso pode estar relacionado a pouca divulgação em relação a esses riscos e as suas principais formas de controle. Com tantas crianças acessando a internet diariamente com pouca supervisão por parte dos pais e responsáveis, o uso do controle parental pode ser um facilitador para monitorar o que os filhos acessam, com quem eles conversam e por quanto tempo utilizam a internet diariamente, mantendo as crianças protegidas no ambiente digital. Através desta pesquisa, foi possível observar que muitos pais e responsáveis consideram que fazem algum esforço no sentido de proteger seus filhos dos riscos oferecidos pela internet. Todavia, evidenciou-se também que tais esforços não correspondem a uma vigilância do uso da internet em sua totalidade pelos filhos. Isso é, há um certo nível de risco assumido pelos pais em relação ao uso de dispositivos conectados à internet pelos filhos. O qual é difícil de ser diminuído em função muitas vezes da falta de tempo ou conhecimento dos pais.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	According to the ICT Kids Online Brasil survey conducted in 2019 by the Internet Steering Committee in Brazil (CGI.br) 89% of children and adolescents aged 9 to 17 years old access the internet frequently, 77% of the parents of these children and adolescents teach children using an internet safely, however, only about 50% follow what their children do on it. Without any kind of supervision, the physical, social and psychological risks that the internet offers for these children are many. Even though these risks can be reduced through important actions that can be taken by parents, very little is still done, and this can be related to little disclosure regarding these risks and their main forms of control. With so many children accessing the internet daily with little supervision by parents and guardians, the use of parental control can be a facilitator to monitor what children access, who they talk to and how long they use the internet daily, keeping children protected in the digital environment. Through this research, it was possible to observe that many parents and guardians consider that they make some effort to protect their children from the risks offered by the internet. However, it was also shown that such efforts do not correspond to a surveillance of the use of the Internet in its entirety by children. That is, there is a certain level of risk assumed by parents in relation to the use of devices connected to the internet by their children. Which is difficult to diminish due to the lack of time or knowledge of the parents.	pt_BR
