The topic addressed is related to both the area of information technology and the processing of sensitive data, as the General Data Protection Law is a rule that recently came into force, and concerns the regulation of the collection and protection of sensitive data. in Brazil, and in the current scenario companies are adapting to meet the requirements demanded by the State. Therefore, in order to analyze the current situation of the company VersaTec, located in the city of Caratinga-MG, field research was carried out within its scope of work, where information was collected on the adaptation of the public health management sector to the LGPD. The results of the research brought, among others, the methodology approached by the institution to adapt its system, as well as the points that require improvements, but also the benefits that the LGPD brought to the company, both in the job market, but also in security. of your customers' sensitive information.
