dc.description	Este trabalho aborda a mediação como alternativa para resolver conflitos relacionados à alienação parental, um problema que, embora polêmico no meio jurídico, afeta profundamente os direitos da criança e a estrutura familiar. A alienação parental ocorre quando um genitor projeta suas frustrações no outro, prejudicando a relação entre o filho e o genitor alienado, a solução do conflito não se limita à decisão sobre a guarda, pois isso pode intensificar o problema. O artigo analisa a Lei nº 12.318/2010, que trata da alienação parental, além das críticas em aspectos jurídicos, psicológicos e sociais. A pesquisa explora também a eficácia da mediação como método mais rápido e eficiente para resolver esse tipo de conflito, através de revisão bibliográfica, análise de legislações e estudo de casos, destacando os benefícios.	pt_BR
dc.description.abstract	This paper addresses mediation as an alternative for resolving conflicts related to parental alienation, a problem that, although controversial in the legal field, deeply affects the rights of the child and the family structure. Parental alienation occurs when one parent projects their frustrations onto the other, harming the relationship between the child and the alienated parent. The resolution of such conflicts is not limited to custody decisions, as these may exacerbate the issue. The article examines Law nº 12.318/2010, which governs parental alienation, along with criticisms from legal, psychological, and social perspectives. Furthermore, the research explores the effectiveness of mediation as a faster and more efficient method for resolving this type of conflict. Through a literature review, analysis of legislation, and case studies, the study highlights the benefits of mediation in addressing these disputes.	pt_BR
