Abstract:
This article seeks to highlight the psychologist's role in assisting young
offenders included in socio-educational measures with a view to enabling their
reintegration into society. In addition, analyzing the socio-istorical and cultural context,
as well as the influence of the psychosocial environment and psychic development
were addressed, even if briefly, in order to contextualize the issues that precede the
crime. The methodology used to write the article was through bibliographical studies,
which were collected in the 35 selected publications, following the following criteria:
search in recognized and scientific databases such as Scielo, Pepsic, BVS-psi, among
others, prioritizing texts such as articles, theses and even laws, dating from 1988 to
the future.

O presente artigo busca evidenciar o papel do psicólogo no atendimento a
jovens infratores inseridos nas medidas socioeducativas com vistas a possibilitar a
reinserção dos mesmos na sociedade. Para além disso, analisar o contexto socio
histórico e cultural, bem como as influência do ambiente psicossocial e o
desenvolvimento psíquico foram abordados, mesmo que de forma breve, afim de
contextualizar as questões que antecedem o crime. A metodologia utilizada para
confecção do artigo se deu através de estudos bibliográficos, que foram coletados nas
35 publicações selecionadas, seguindo os seguintes critérios: busca em base de
dados reconhecidas e científicas como Scielo, Pepsic, BVS-psi, entre outros,
priorizando textos como artigos, teses e até mesmo leis, datados de 1988 até a futuro.
