Abstract:
A poluição sonora está presente em grandes centros urbanos, e são nestes locais que muitos hospitais se encontram. Esse som indesejado, determinado como ruído, é gerado principalmente pelos veículos em circulação. Dessa forma, o objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar o nível de ruído na unidade maternidade de um hospital de Juiz de Fora - MG que se encontra em construção. A solicitação da medição dos níveis sonoros foi feita pelos gestores a partir de reclamações dos clientes em virtude do barulho do trânsito em outros andares do hospital. O ruído foi mensurado utilizando o dosímetro, devidamente instalado dentro de um dos quartos individuais da unidade maternidade. Os níveis sonoros encontrados estavam acima do limite conforme a primeira edição da norma ABNT NBR 10.152 (1987). Considerando os aspectos físicos do hospital e os impactos financeiros ao alterar todos os materiais de acabamento que compõe a edificação do hospital, o arquiteto responsável pelo projeto optou por modificar apenas as janelas dos quartos da maternidade, a ideia consiste em criar barreiras que dificultem a passagem do som indesejado do meio externo para o meio interno. Sendo assim, foram instaladas janelas compostas por vidros duplos, persianas entre os vidros e esquadrias em PVC. Posteriormente a implementação dessas janelas, houve novas avaliações com o sonômetro consoante a segunda edição da norma ABNT NBR 10.152 (2017). Os resultados mostraram que é possível minimizar os valores de pressão sonora por meio de medidas simples, como a criação de uma sequência de obstáculos que dificulte a propagação do som, proporcionando maior conforto aos clientes.
