Abstract:
A Primeira Revolução Industrial no século XVIII na Inglaterra marca o surgimento dos principais conceitos existentes da Engenharia de Produção. Desde então, as organizações vêm buscando melhorias em seus processos produtivos. A competitividade entre as empresas aumentou e, paralelo a isso, as exigências do novo mercado também foram evoluindo. Diante do cenário de um mundo globalizado, o profissional em engenharia precisa estar qualificado para o mercado de trabalho. Para isso, é crucial que o ambiente de aprendizado ofereça informações suficientes, posteriormente convertidas em conhecimento, que permitirão aos discentes desenvolver competências e habilidades no ambiente de trabalho. Assim sendo, o presente trabalho visa levantar as diretrizes curriculares e as regulamentações do curso de graduação em Engenharia de Produção e, através da técnica de coleta de dados por meio de um questionário elaborado e aplicado pelas autoras, verificar o perfil do futuro egresso em Engenharia de Produção, e se tais se apercebem seguros quando inseridos no mercado de trabalho. É necessário que os egressos estejam preparados e capacitados para a inovação, liderança e a resolução de problemas. Não obstante, através dos resultados obtidos observou-se que os futuros egressos em sua grande maioria se sentem inseguros para o mercado de trabalho.
