Abstract:
Esse projeto propõe uma análise do processo de geração de imagem por
ressonância magnética nuclear utilizando como metodologia a revisão narrativa, com
o objetivo de contribuir para a aprendizagem no campo da espectroscopia, na
geração do sinal e sua aplicação na formação da imagem. Para tal, foram
observados conceitos como momentos de dipolo magnético com suas respectivas
orientações, natureza ondulatória dos átomos, interação com campos magnéticos,
comportamento das estruturas moleculares, além da aplicação de radiofrequência e
a mudança do estado de energia sofrida pelos átomos no fenômeno de ressonância
magnética nuclear. A partir dos anos 20 estudos em nível quântico, relacionados ao
fenômeno de ressonância magnética nuclear ganharam importância no mundo
científico, incluindo físicos renomados na lista de ganhadores de prêmios Nobel. O
estudo de tais métodos e de sua aplicabilidade na máquina de ressonância
magnética nuclear é de extrema importância para a compreensão do seu
funcionamento, sendo esta máquina uma das principais armas utilizadas no campo
do diagnóstico por imagem na medicina atual.
