The constant advent of new technologies triggers an increase in the demand for continuous
improvement of the productive process of industries in the most diverse segments, aiming to ensure
its agile and constant adaptation to the new needs of the market. In this tuning fork, the present study
discusses the application of Lean Manufacturing tools, more specifically of sight management, as an
instrument to increase the operational coefficient and the quality of the final product, with a special
focus on reducing the occurrence of potential losses and failures results that justify the relevance of
the approached object not only for the undergraduate area, but for industrial production as a whole.
The study is divided into two stages, combining a literature review with a case study, through
qualitative and descriptive research, with a theoretical reference survey correlated to the purpose of
dissertation on aspects concerning Lean Manufacturing and its relevance for production industrial,
followed by a specific analysis of spot management in industrial production and its possible
consequences on the operating result, in addition to dissertation on the panorama of the precast
industry as a whole, providing the theoretical subsidy necessary for the case study carried out later. |
