Abstract:
A presente monografia na área de administração financeira, apresentado nas Faculdades Unificadas de Teófilo Otoni, é requisito à obtenção do título de Bacharel em Ciências Contábeis. Trouxe a discussão sobre as formas de estrutura de capital utilizadas pelas empresas e sua relação com a alavancagem financeira através do endividamento planejado. O perfil da gestão é mostrado como um dos principais influenciadores no processo de alavancagem financeira. O objetivo do trabalho foi analisar a viabilidade de captação de recursos de terceiros para a expansão do negócio. Desse modo, buscou identificar a existência de correlação entre as fontes de financiamento e a rentabilidade. Para alcançar esse objetivo foi realizado um estudo bibliográfico baseado em material e informações publicadas e divulgadas em livros, redes eletrônicas, material disponível ao público em geral. O trabalho se desenvolveu explorando os conceitos de: planejamento financeiro, risco e retorno financeiro, estrutura de capital, alavancagem e resultado. O estudo realizado permitiu concluir, através dos resultados alcançados que mesmo com alto risco o investimento
planejado, a partir da utilização de capital de terceiros, pode proporcionar resultados positivos para a empresa em curto, médio ou longo prazo.
