Abstract:
In the current Brazilian context, pregnant women's health is an area affected by
precarious care services at the time of parturition, generating high rates of cesarean
sections, episiotomies and the use of protocols with unnecessary analgesia.
Therefore, the choice of natural birth together with the use of Non-Pharmacological
Therapies (NPT) becomes essential for female physical and emotional health. The
present study aimed to describe pain management techniques in natural labor and report the benefits that their use provides. An integrative review was carried out,
which, through a bibliographic survey, concluded that the main and most
advantageous NPT are: hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, yoga, meditation, music
therapy and hypnosis. Based on this assumption, this article addressed extremely
relevant topics to be debated and disseminated in society regarding women's health.
Description:
hidroterapia, aromaterapia, yoga, meditação, musicoterapia e hipnose. Partindo
