GERAÇÃO DE ENERGIA FOTOVOLTAICA COMPARTILHADA: ESTUDO DE CASO NO 19º BATALHÃO E OUTRA UNIDADE DA PMMG EM TEÓFILO OTONI/MG

Abstract

Renewable energy is less polluting and every day it becomes more necessary in our country and also in the world, since our planet needs a change as soon as possible so that the energy future is more efficient and sustainable. This research had as its main objective to demonstrate the technical and also economic viability with the aim of reducing expenses for public coffers, in this sense the possibility of expanding the Photovoltaic plant already installed in the 19th battalion of the Military Police of Teófilo Otoni to also supply the electrical energy needs of the unit of the Fifteenth Military Police Region (15 RPM). The forms used for this research were bibliographic and also on-site, providing means for understanding the problem, for analyzing the electricity bills of the two units and also of the photovoltaic system already existing in the 19th battalion of the Military Police of Teófilo Otoni. As for the research approach, they were qualitative and quantitative, which allowed understanding the needs and also the challenges for the proposed solution to the aforementioned problem. It was then concluded that the possible expansion of the photovoltaic plant already installed on the premises of the 19th battalion of the Military Police of Teófilo Otoni in sharing with the unit of the Fifteenth Region of the Military Police (15 RPM) of the energy generated, presents the possibility of reducing costs of energy used by the two units, thus contributing to significant savings in electricity expenses for the State of Minas Gerais.
