Resumo: | It presents the importance of the participation of the family in the school life of the children, for the accomplishment of this study the descriptive methodology was used, according to Gil (1996). With data presented through information collected from a research of a bibliographic type, of a qualitative nature, since it was constituted from information based on studies of education theorists, in books and sites of recent periods. It addresses the theme of family participation in the cognitive and social development of the child, and how participation, delimiting its influence in the teaching and learning process of the child of school age, with a view to the full development of the child. It contemplates the attempt to emphasize the real importance that the partnership between family and school assumes in the context of schooling / teaching and learning of students, so that the education offered to it is of satisfactory quality, attending to the educational demands of these subjects, especially in the which refers to emotional, social and cognitive development. In this sense, contributing to an education of significant quality, where there is real integration among all those involved in the educational process, is the main objective of this article. |
