“A GENTE COMBINAMOS DE NÃO MORRER”: COTIDIANO ESCOLAR E NECROPOLÍTICA

Abstract

A concept little discussed by Psychology yet, but which has been gaining visibility in the academic environment, the Necropolitics, which can be defined as the state power that aggravates political negligence through the choice of who the State “causes to die and leaves to die”, aims to support this research, bringing analysis about its effects on the production of subjectivity of adolescents in the school environment. Through the cartography method, the objective was to identify which sensitivities are created from the crossings produced in the school routine and its consequences on the mental health of adolescents, considering the complexity of the affections that occur within the school and observing the elements of subjectivity that modulate these subjects . The research was carried out with the participation of a fixed group of adolescents between 11 and 16 years old, of both sexes and different grades, enrolled in a State Public School of Elementary Education in the city of Serra - ES. The choice of the school as a scenario for the analysis of this theme, part of the understanding that being the school participating in society and operating its dynamics, put into analysis the relationships that are established within it and understand them as producers of subjectivity through the production and reproduction of worldviews and of themselves, can contribute to the policy of “making the state die”. Thinking about the Necropolitics is essential for the exercise of Psychology in Brazilian schools, since its consequence has been the weakening of the mental health of black, brown, poor and peripheral children and adolescents.
