EVIDÊNCIAS SOBRE AS MELHORES TÉCNICAS DE TRATAMENTO NA CICATRIZAÇÃO DE FERIDAS DO PÉ DIABÉTICO: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze the scientific data that evidence the best technique or treatment recommended for the healing of the diabetic foot wound. This is an integrative review of the literature, carried out between March and April 2021, in the following databases: Public/ Publisher Medline (Pubmed) The Cochrane Library (Cochrane), (VHL) Virtual Health Library. The Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS), in Portuguese and English together with the Boolean operators AND and OR were used. The search strategies resulted in 11 articles. Aiming at the best analysis of the articles that met the selection criteria identified in the sample, they were separated into 05 categories: coverage, negative pressure, airborne ultrasound, oxygen therapy and low intensity light; where each category is analyzed within a group of articles that share techniques that use similar principles. The present review study allowed the identification of scientific productions that allow analyzing the existence of techniques that showed significant results in the healing of diabetic foot wounds, producing promising diagnoses after their application, the studies in question, bring strong evidence that the use of methods of direct approach to wound added to glycemic control, can produce results in the sense of healing, treating the causes of wounds in their beds.
