ESTUDO DE CASO DO SISTEMA ACADÊMICO ADX PARA A VERIFICAÇÃO DAS FUNCIONALIDADES E IDENTIFICAÇÃO DA ADEQUAÇÃO PERANTE A LGPD

Abstract

In response to the growing threats of data leaks and digital scams, data protection laws have emerged, such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in Europe in 2016, requiring companies to adapt to a new level of data protection. In Brazil, the LGPD (General Data Protection Law) was implemented in 2018 with the same purpose as the GDPR, to improve digital security. This work aims to understand the LGPD, focusing on chapters II and III, which denote the treatment of data and the rights of users, and to evaluate its implementation in the ADX academic system directly related to the student access module of the Doctum Education Network, seeking to inform the existing adjustments and those that are necessary. It provides explanations about the law and the system as a methodology, in addition to the research languages, text editing program and formulation of implementation ideas from the separation of articles to the adaptation of the pages. The results demonstrate visual and textual explanations about the ADX pages, including compliance information, aiming to ensure the security and compliance with the privacy and data protection standards of the students.
