FGTS DIGITAL: AVANÇOS, DESAFIOS E IMPACTOS NA MODERNIZAÇÃO DOS DIREITOS TRABALHISTA

Abstract

The Severance Pay Guarantee Fund (FGTS) is one of the essential pillars of labor rights in Brazil, playing a crucial role in ensuring financial protection for workers in various circumstances. Each year, advances in technology and the digitalization of labor relations make it increasingly clear that there is a need for modern and 2 accessible management systems that can keep up with this evolution to ensure greater efficiency and accessibility. In this scenario, FGTS Digital was created, an innovative initiative aimed at modernizing and simplifying FGTS management. This platform promises to bring significant benefits both to workers, by facilitating access to their rights, and to employers, who will have more agile processes, and also to the government, which will be able to improve control and transparency. In this presentation, we will discuss in depth the principles and functionalities of FGTS Digital, discussing its main advantages, such as ease of access, process optimization, and reduction of bureaucracy. In addition, the challenges faced in its implementation on both sides will be explored, from the Caixa to improving customer service, and the importance of training and educational materials made available by the government, guiding users on the new system. Since this is a significant change, the success of FGTS Digital will depend on investment in training and communication, ensuring that everyone involved understands and adapts to the new platform.
