AVALIAÇÃO DOS EFEITOS DO USO ASSOCIADO DE BIOESTIMULADORES DE COLÁGENO E PDRN NA MELHORA DA QUALIDADE DÉRMICA FACIAL

Abstract

Skin aging is a multifactorial process that involves structural alterations in the extracellular matrix, reduced fibroblast activity, and decreased synthesis of collagen and elastin. In response to these changes, aesthetic biomedicine has advanced in the development of regenerative therapies capable of restoring skin integrity and functionality. Among these technologies, collagen biostimulators and polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) stand out, as they present distinct and complementary mechanisms of action. The objective of this study was to analyze, through an integrative literature review, the effects of the combined application of these substances on facial dermal quality. The research was conducted in the SciELO, BVS, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases, covering publications from 2014 to 2024. The results demonstrate that biostimulators promote gradual neocollagenesis by stimulating fibroblasts and reorganizing the dermal matrix. PDRN, in turn, acts on cellular regeneration, inflammatory modulation, and neoangiogenesis, improving hydration, tissue repair, and homeostatic balance. The association of both enhances their individual benefits, resulting in a significant improvement in skin firmness, texture, and vitality. It is concluded that this combination represents an effective and safe strategy aligned with contemporary trends in integrative aesthetics.
