SEGURANÇA PÚBLICA E O CICLO DE POLÍCIA

Abstract

The present work aimed to analyze the possibility of insertion of a new philosophy of policing that has been gaining ground for decades, both in Brazil and in many countries of North America and Europe, resulting in innovations in the structure and functioning of the body and the way they face the challenge of violence and crime in modern society. For that, it was used as a method for data collection and research through the numbers of investigations solved and not solved in recent years by the Civil Police of different States of the Federation, being possible to realize that the Military Police have more effective in comparison with the Police Judiciary , yet it is responsible for ostensible patrolling and social control indirectly for its constant presence on the streets. Finally, through the whole study, the incomplete police cycle practiced in Brazil was confirmed.
