PRÁTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS NA MODALIDADE DA EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to verify the factors that lead the student to rejoin the study in the regular school, and if it is fit to attend this new modality of basic 23 education of the EJA. In order to base our article, we seek to address legal and theoretical aspects in order to strengthen the proposed theme and present the peculiarities of the EJA teaching modality. The central problem of the research is to analyze if the practices developed by the teachers contribute to the process of teaching and learning. Theoretically we hold the discussions in Freire (1996,1998 1999, 2005). The research is qualitative, through which we seek to understand the context investigated, through observations and interviews with teachers, pedagogical staff and students. The research was carried out in municipal school that offers EJA in Serra / ES. Among the results, we highlight that the EJA teaching modality is a great challenge for teachers, especially regarding the flexibility of the curriculum in order to meet the real needs of students and thus contribute to their permanence in school.
