A PERCEPÇÃO DA COMUNIDADE ESCOLAR EM RELAÇÃO À RELEVÂNCIADA DA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA E SUA CONTRIBUIÇÃO NA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE PROBLEMAS PSICOPEDAGÓGICOS

Abstract

It contemplates the diverse influences of Physical Education and its historical context. The objective is to analyze the perception of the school community regarding the relevance that Physical Education has in the school context and its contribution in the identification of psychopedagogical problems. It uses exploratory and qualitative research, in which 82 students and 30 high school teachers from two state public schools were interviewed through questionnaires with open questions. The research showed that Physical Education undergoes a process of recognition of importance, suffering prejudice against the other curricular components of the school context, being analyzed by much of the school community as irrelevant.
