Abstract

The present work intends, from the analysis of the recent changes in the legislation regarding extrajudicial usucapion, to respond: The recent and constant changes in the law of public registries, with regard to land regularization through extrajudicial usucapion has legal certainty, since it comes going through constant changes in its essence? The article presents a brief exposition about the concept of property and the history of the species of usucapion, mainly in the extrajudicial modality, that is the focus of this article, making a brief report from its appearance to the most recent changes. Finally, comparisons will be made between the judicial and extrajudicial procedures of usucapion, from which will be extracted the result of the existence of legal certainty in the procedure of extra-judicial usucapion.
