Abstract

The present study aims at a critical reflection on the relationship between family and school for student learning, showing its importance in the formation of future citizens, how they organize themselves in the education of these children in the current and globalized world and the importance of affectivity in education. In order to understand the importance of the family for Education, it is necessary to analyze the changes that have taken place in the conception of childhood and Education over time, as well as the historical aspects of the conception of family. Education has not always been recognized as it is today, and the family has also undergone major changes in its structure and organization. Through the results obtained, it is possible to conclude that the child who does not receive attention, support, affection, guidance and follow-up from the family during the important stage of early childhood education, does not fully develop as a child and still triggers future conflicts as an adult.
