Abstract

Our intention is to address this topic because we believe that its relevance can make a valuable contribution to the implementation of this research project, which is justified by the need to better understand the challenges that women with cancer face in relation to their labor and welfare rights and to seek solutions to these obstacles. The research has the potential to directly benefit these women, in addition to supporting policies and practices that can improve their quality of life. Our main objective is: To identify the labor and welfare rights that are guaranteed by law to women diagnosed with cancer and to analyze the effectiveness of these rights in practice, considering possible barriers that may hinder access to them. To propose solutions to improve access to and enforcement of these rights, based on the research findings. To inform women diagnosed with cancer about their labor and welfare rights, contributing to their autonomy and well-being.
