Abstract

This work analyzes the transformation of a coffee farm into a rural inn, using retrofits and new constructions to create a sustainable and welcoming environment. The main house will be converted into a restaurant for guests and the general public, and the coffee drying yard will be adapted into suites with views of the mountains. The project integrates natural materials and sustainable practices, highlighting the importance of rural tourism in the post-pandemic context. The proposal aims to preserve the memory and history of the farm, offering new experiences and promoting well-being and contact with nature. The study explores how the revitalization of historic spaces can contribute to the economic and social development of the region, in addition to providing an emotional and physical refuge for guests.
