ESTELIONATO SENTIMENTAL E SUAS REPERCURSÕES NO ORDENAMENTO JURÍDICO BRASILEIRO

Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze the characteristics and impacts of the Sentimental Swindle, its consequences before the Brazilian legal system and its reflections on patrimonial violence against women. The methodology used is that of quali-quanti research, in which a mixed approach was adopted, combining qualitative and quantitative elements. The study comprises three chapters, which address the legal configuration, concept and characteristics of the Sentimental Swindle, the role of social networks as facilitators of its practice, the modus operandi of the sentimental swindler and the difficulty of the victims in reporting the fact, in addition to the patrimonial violence experienced by the victims and the current jurisprudences that deal with the subject.
